At The King's Gate Church we see children and young people as a very important part of our church. As such we endeavour to make them feel welcome and included; to enable them to have an active role in church life.

Our Children's work covers from birth to age 11 (year 6). The age groups are divided into 0-3 (creche); 3-5 (kindergarten); 5-7 (J-Team) and 8-11 (Warriors). We currently are just running a Warriors group on Sunday mornings as most of our children are age 9 & 10.

The children join with the adults until approximately 11.15 am when they then have their own activities. They can be found doing a whole variety of activities all based on a Biblical theme. These include: quizzes, games, interactive stories, challenges, discussions, craft and time for reflection to quiet music.
