The King's Gate Church is hot on prayer. Whether we're praying for our church, our town, for Britain, for Israel or simply for one another we want to know what the will of the Father is and to pray into it. We also realise that not everyone's week is scheduled similarly so we have a number of different prayer meetings at different times of the day so there should be a something at a convenient time for anyone who's interested.

Tuesday Evening Prayer Meeting: There is an open prayer meeting at Lizzie's house that starts at 7pm every Tuesday (except bank holiday times). This is scheduled to last until 8pm but usually overflows until at least 8:45pm beacuse of the joy and life in the meeting, meaning few are ready to leave by 8pm. We cover all the needs of the church and the local community asking for the help of the Holy Spirit and moving in visions, words of knowledge and wisdom.

Prayer For Growth: Around a year ago we felt the Lord led us to meet once a month specifically to pray for growth. We have a desire to see growth in a number of areas, not least in our personal maturity in the Lord, in our gifts & ministries and to see the church increase in size. We are seeking the heart of the Father in these areas and firmly believing that He 'is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine'. We meet on the third Monday of every month at Lizzie's from 7:30pm.

24 Hour Prayer: We often engage in extended periods of prayer for specific dreams and needs. There is always a rush to sign up for 24 hour prayer, even for the small hours of the night. These times of waiting on God alone change us and are utterly inspirational, many of us having matured in our prayer lives and in our relationship with God through such times. We have a specific 24 hour prayer room in which we are free to do art work and express some of the vision and prophecy received during this time.

Prayer For Britain: We meet weekly, generally from 8:30am to 9:30am on Friday, but please ring 01243 829461 to check which day. We pray for the government, institutions, the church and other topical issues.

Prayer For Israel: We are an enthusiastic group drawn from several different churches. Our main meeting is at 8pm on the 2nd Monday in the month and there is an additional meeting from 2-3pm on the 4th Monday in the month. Please ring 01243 829461 to check venues.

Intercessors Meetings: As a church we are also involved in intercessory prayer. We meet each week to intercede on a number of issues although this is by invitation and therefore is not a public meeting. As with all our prayer, we are waiting on God, worshipping Him and receiving & declaring what He is saying to the Church, for the season.

There is an Open Intercession Meeting on the last Wednesday of each month between 8pm - 9:30pm at the beehive. On this occassion we meet with people across Bognor from 4 other local churches. Once again, we wait on God, worship Him and hear & speak what the Spirit is saying.
